LogiMAT Extends Stuttgart Venue Agreement Through 2031

LogiMAT will stay at Messe Stuttgart through at least 2031 after a record 2026 show drew 69,856 trade visitors.

LogiMAT will remain at Messe Stuttgart through at least 2031, giving exhibitors and visitors a fixed location for the intralogistics trade show’s next several editions. Organiser EUROEXPO Messe- und Kongress-GmbH and Messe Stuttgart have extended their long-running agreement. The event has been held at the Stuttgart exhibition centre since 2003.
The next show is scheduled for 16 to 18 March 2027. It will mark LogiMAT’s 25th anniversary at the venue, where the event brings together businesses working across intralogistics and process management. For exhibitors, the extension provides continuity in a venue that has hosted the show for more than two decades. For visitors, it keeps the event at a site connected to the city’s airport, motorway network and local public transport.
Record attendance precedes the extension
The agreement follows LogiMAT’s March 2026 edition, which set new records for exhibiting companies, net exhibition space, international participation and trade visitors, according to EUROEXPO. The three-day event welcomed 69,856 trade visitors to Messe Stuttgart. EUROEXPO described the turnout as further evidence of the show’s role as an international meeting point for logistics and intralogistics businesses.
The attendance figure gives a measure of the event’s scale, while the reported records across exhibitors, floor space and international participation point to growth in several parts of the show at once. The source did not provide figures for those individual records, so their size cannot be compared here. Still, the range of categories cited suggests that the 2026 edition expanded both its exhibitor base and the space used to present products and services.
LogiMAT covers companies across the intralogistics value chain. Automation, digitalisation, material flows and supply chain resilience were among the areas drawing interest at the 2026 show. Those subjects connect equipment and software decisions with the day-to-day work of moving, storing and managing goods. Trade events focused on these areas give suppliers and operators a place to compare approaches and discuss practical applications in one setting.
Venue continuity and show development
EUROEXPO Managing Director Christoph Huss said Stuttgart’s infrastructure, transport links and proximity to industrial and technology centres make it a suitable location for LogiMAT. The exhibition centre’s connection to Stuttgart Airport, the motorway network and local public transport also supports access for people travelling to the international event.
That access matters to a show that depends on bringing together visitors and exhibitors from multiple countries and parts of the supply chain. A familiar venue can also make planning more straightforward for returning participants: they can build on knowledge of the site when arranging travel, staffing and exhibition logistics. The agreement through at least 2031 gives businesses a longer planning horizon for future appearances, though the source does not specify details of the agreement beyond its duration.
LogiMAT Exhibition Director Michael Ruchty said the organisers intend to keep developing the event and strengthen its position as a platform for logistics innovation and practical solutions. The next challenge is to build on the 2026 attendance and exhibitor records while continuing to serve a broad intralogistics audience. The source did not detail specific changes planned for the 2027 edition.

The relationship between EUROEXPO and Messe Stuttgart also includes cooperation on LogiMAT China. Both organisations pointed to that work as part of their expanding international relationship. Messe Stuttgart President Stefan Lohnert said the extension reflects the trust and shared results developed between the organisations, and described LogiMAT as an established meeting point for the logistics sector.
With the Stuttgart venue secured through at least 2031, the immediate date for attendees to plan around is 16 to 18 March 2027. The extension keeps the show at the exhibition centre where it has built its presence since 2003; the 2026 records provide a clear reference point for the scale and range of participation organisers will be looking to sustain.
The next LogiMAT will take place at Messe Stuttgart from 16 to 18 March 2027.
